Guard on train didn't bother coming round the train to provide tickets resulting in an enormous queue at Victoria. When i showed my season ticket and requested that the guy on the barrier allow me to pay for my son at the main ticketing office since the train had arrived late (btw no apology on the train for the late arrival) i was accused of assaulting the guy. Absolutely ridiculous.

Even better, my son, who was accompanying me, has now seen that Northern Rail staff can be amazingly unreasonable first hand.
So much for building relationships.
Oh dear, Northern Rail staff, what a shame that you are let down by this seemingly high proportion of personnel who don't understand the concept of customer service let alone initiative and discretion.
