Huddersfield to Manchester Victoria (7.55am from Marsden)

During w/c 11 May 2009, we have been blessed with having 4 carriages, which now seems to be the norm.

The trouble is, the back two carriages are not opened until we reach Stalybridge. Over the last couple of days, everyone that gets on at Greenfield and Mossley have had to cram into the first two carriages whilst the back two are completely empty. I think it was on Tuesday, we actually left some people behind at Mossley because they simply could not get on the train. Fortunately for me, I get on at an earlier stop so don't have any problems getting a seat.

My sympathy goes out to those who are left standing and who couldn't/cant get on the train at all.

Whoever came up with the idea to leave the carriages closed until Stalybridge needs to have a serious word with themselves!!
