Platform in an absolutely shocking state throughout the day - no attempt made to clear the frozen snow and ice, with the consequence that the whole platform was lethal. The risk of people, especially the elderly/young children falling on to the tracks was, in my opinion, high. Possibly (although gritters had been out, and it was forecast) understandable first thing in the morning. Not when it was still there last thing at night. (See also 'Praise' for actions of conductor)
