Does anyone know how to get through to Northern Rail on this issue and others
I think the only way is to keep posting in a public forum like this. By bringing all the complaints together in one place and making them public, I'm hoping that this will help raise the profile of the problems and help put pressure on Northern Rail to do something.
It's quite clear that the official reporting mechanisms/processes that should draw attention to and address these problems are flawed since there have been no improvements in the last 3 years.
When i've reported problems in the past via the official procedure to Northern Rail, it's been clear from Northern Rails response that nothing was going to be done - even when the problem was a fairly trivial one.
However, if you do go down this route, if you are unhappy with the response to an official complaint made to Northern Rail, you can then escalate this to Pasenger Focus (
